Billboards/Paris Metro

This body of work was mostly shot in the underground of the Paris Metro. Until recently with the advent of digital signs, billboards were mostly posters glued on top of other posters. When the thickness of the posters became too thick, a metro worker would come and shave down the posters to the base leaving the remains of various posters. These photographs are of the shaved down bases of the billboard frames.
