 Are EJ Stern Handbags ready to wear or haute couture?
Each handbag is made specifically for each individual customer. All of our
designs can be ordered as seen on our website and catalogue or can be modified
in color, flowers, and shape of the handbag. Also, we can create a completely
unique design just for you, perfectly matched for your perfect occasion. We are
happy to give custom quotes for any design changes.
Where can I purchase EJ Stern Handbags?
All of our designs are available through our in-house design service and bridal
consultants. Select designs are in premiere boutiques in the US, Canada, France,
Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
What are EJ Stern Handbags made with?
We use only the finest silk & velvet flowers and leaves from the most
exclusive European silk flower ateliers. All flowers and leaves can be custom
made in any color, size or flower type. Ellen Stern also has a vast collection
of antique European flowers from the first half of the 20 th century. Upon request,
pieces from this exquisite and rare collection can be utilized in custom designs.
Are EJ Stern Handbags functional handbags?
Our handbags are beautiful as well as fully functional handbags. Most of our
handbags can hold a lipstick, keys, credit card and cell phone.
How can I see an EJ Stern Handbag?
We are located in Boca Raton, Florida. If you live in South Florida, we are
happy to arrange an appointment to show you the Collection. If you live in another
area of the country, please call us and we can guide you to a store in your area
that carries select designs from the collection.
How durable are EJ Stern Handbags?
We have created our handbags with the highest quality materials available
to withstand the normal use of a luxurious evening handbag. The leaves and flowers
can be touched without soiling and our handbags can be against clothing without
fear of crushing the flowers. Our Collection is incredibly durable for a 3 dimensional
work of art which is the result of many years of quality control research. In
the rare case that a flower does fall off, please notify us and we will generally
replace the flower at no additional charge.
What is the EJ Stern Warranty policy?
A 6 month unconditional warranty on workmanship and materials.
How long will it take to receive my handbag?
Once your order is placed: if you choose one of our existing designs with
no changes, you can expect your handbag in 6-8 weeks. If design changes are made;
8-16 weeks should be expected. For a complete custom design; we will give you
a customized time estimate.
How do I place an order and make payment?
Please call our studio and speak with one of our design associates. We accept
checks and Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Upon placement of an order,
a deposit of 50% is required. When the order has been completed ; the final payment
is due prior to shipment.
Can I return or exchange my handbag?
Since each handbag is made to order for each individual customer, all orders
are considered final sales. There are no cancellations, refunds or exchanges.
Is Gift Packaging available?
All of our handbags arrive in a complimentary, beautiful, EJ Stern custom
made gift box. All handbags are carefully packed to arrive in pristine condition.
How do I store my bag before and after wearing it?
When your handbag arrives, prior to wearing it; you should remove it from
the box and take off the tissue surrounding it. Fluff the flowers by hand as
they may have compressed a bit during shipping. Keep your handbag out of the
tissue and box and the flowers will expand again into their full shape. You may
steam your flowers as well with a hand steamer. After wearing your handbag you
can store it in the giftbox or you can enjoy it as a collectible in a display
curio. Please ask us about our handmade bases and glass cloches for a beautiful
dustfree display.
How
do I clean my handbag if it gets soiled?
Take your handbag to your finest local haute couture cleaner. Call our studio
and one of our design associates will be happy to make recommendations.
